The 21 day Challenge Part 2

This week we start the 21 day challenge – part 2.  Now we need to start focusing on advanced techniques hat you can use to help you manage your post meal blood glucose levels. In this session we talked about giving, even fast acting, insulin 15-20 minutes before a meal if possible.  We also discussed using physical activity int he after a meal to bring blood glucose levels down.

The fat budget is now 30g per day and that will be the same for the next 21 days.

Start to change your diet, this week the aim is to create a menu that limits your total daily fat budget to 30g of fat per day.

Try to eat the perfect breakfast, the perfect lunch and the perfect dinner every single day. If you are hungry snack between meals that is fine, but make sure that your snacks are whole plant based and that you stay within your fat budget.

Use this week to plan your menu and your shopping for next week when we will start the 21 day challenge to eat the perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
