The #TheBig1 Online – Talking type 1 diabetes and technology  on 18 June at 7pm (British Summer Time aka GMT +1) is your chance to meet other people living with type 1 diabetes and to chat about mental health and type 1 diabets. This event is free to attend and starts at 7pm and you can log on from 6.50pm. Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email with the meeting link, ID and pass code. 

 
This session will be hosted by Diabetes UK’s Volunteering and Outreach Manager Verity McLelland, who will be joined by Clinical Psychoilogist Dr Rose Stewart, Paul Coker from 1Bloodydrop.com  will be in charge of the technical bits and pieces that make the meeting happen.

You’ll be able to chat with each other, learn from their experiences and share some of yours with other people who really understand life with type 1 diabetes. There’s lots of opportunity to talk about the stuff you really want to. We are planning to hold a series of online sessions, each with a different theme such as diet, exercise, emotional well-being, drugs and alcohol, family planning, world travel, careers and work, and life in general.
