Introduction

When I built this website I needed a lot of help from experts on YouTube. I soon realised that most of the experts love to film themselves talking and all I really wanted was an answer to my question in 5 minutes or less.  Can you relate to that?

I decided to create a quick reference point for you about exercise and type 1 diabetes, remember this is an education program it is not medical advice and you will need to tweak the suggestions to fit you, your diabetes and your activities. You should consult with our health care professionals on how to do this.

purpose

As soon as the website was up and running I began creating a series of 5 minute videos that answer the questions that you have about type 1 diabetes and exercise in a concise way. I want to give you the answers you need about exercise and type 1 diabetes in a series of short videos. There is a structure and order to the videos suggested because the content keeps building on the earlier videos.

Learning Path

The program is set up to provide short videos on key points that you can use to help you to manage exercise and type 1 diabetes. Remember that exercise includes all kinds of activities from running a marathon to shopping, from playing football to cleaning the car.
